Blast from the Past

My mom and me ~'79I would like you to meet my mom.  She is absolutely amazing.  I don’t know what I would do without her.  She helped me accomplish all 300 sweat equity hours I had to complete for my Habitat house, and a million other things.  She raised me to be the person I am today.  She always put my sister and me ahead of herself.  I only hope I can be half the mother and grandmother she was and is.

Happy Mothers Day mom.  I love you.  I am so sorry for all of the crap I put you through and all the BS you had to help me through.  I hope I can make it up to you.

PS…I can NOT, post this without pointing out the decor in that picture.  The wallpaper, the macrame owl, the orange and brown…can you even handle it?  I wish my mom still had that shirt!  So good!
